Terms and conditions
The terms you are agreeing to when you buy from this website.
Website use
Using this website is conditional on your accepting the terms set out on this page. Screen Door Company may amend these terms at any time, and if you use the website after a change you are agreeing to the version then published.
Product availability
If we are out of stock of something you have ordered online we will tell you, and you may ask for a different model, wait for new stock, or ask for a full refund.
Prices
All prices on this website are in New Zealand dollars. No GST is added at checkout. If you ask us to send goods outside New Zealand, any duties or taxes charged on arrival are yours to pay.
Delivery
We aim to despatch your order within 24 to 48 hours. Delivery inside New Zealand then takes 5 to 7 days. Delivery is free on orders of $75 or more; below that, the delivery method we offer is EXPRESS DELIVERY at $25, which you can also choose at any order value. The amount is shown in your basket before you pay.
Website disclaimer
The information on this website is provided in good faith. We do not warrant that it is complete or free of error, and we are not responsible for errors in or omissions from it, except where the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 says otherwise.
Product disclaimer
Our screens are made for domestic and commercial use. They are insect screens: they are not security products, they are not a barrier for a child or a pet that is determined to get through, and they are not designed to prevent injury. Please check that the size you have ordered suits your doorway before you fit it.
Limits on our liability
We do not exclude, restrict or modify any guarantee, right or remedy that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 gives you. Section 43 of that Act makes an attempt to do so unenforceable against a consumer, and we do not attempt it.
Where you are acquiring goods for the purposes of a business, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, and in that case our liability for any one order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods it relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for delays caused by a carrier.

This website links to sites we do not control, and we are not responsible for what is on them.

Your rights under New Zealand law
Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. When you buy from us as a consumer, the goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for the purpose you told us about, and match their description. Those guarantees cannot be contracted out of, and the remedies for a failure are set by the Act rather than by us.
If a fault is a minor one we may repair it, replace the item or refund you, and the choice is ours. If it is a major failure the choice is yours: you may reject the goods for a refund or a replacement, or keep them and claim compensation for the drop in value. You may also claim for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by the failure.
The Fair Trading Act 1986 also applies to everything we say about our products and prices. If you think something we have published is misleading, tell us and we will put it right.
There is no general cooling-off period for online purchases in New Zealand. The return window below is our own policy and it is offered in addition to your statutory rights, not instead of them.
