Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get it back.
Screen Door Company is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy sets out how we collect, use, store and disclose it.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and its thirteen information privacy principles. A copy of the principles is available from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
What we collect and why
We collect the information we need to sell you something and get it to you: your name, your delivery address, your email address and your phone number. We use it to process your order, to keep you informed about it, to answer your questions, and to keep the accounting records the law requires us to keep.
We collect it from you directly, through this website at flyscreendoor.co.nz, by email, and through the payment providers you choose to use.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal payments by PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
Who we share it with
We share your delivery details with the warehouse and the courier that carry your order, and nothing more than they need. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are useful. It also uses a Google Ads conversion tag so we can tell which advertisements lead to a sale. Both set cookies. Our cookie policy explains what each one does and how to refuse them.
Keeping it, and getting rid of it
We keep order records for as long as our tax and accounting obligations require, and no longer. Information we no longer need is deleted.
Seeing and correcting your information
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask us for the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email theteam@flyscreendoor.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are still unhappy you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
